NextFlex is looking for a Dev-Ops intern at its manufacturing hub in San Jose, California. The intern will work in NextFlex’s Advanced Technologies Engineering group working on next generation additively manufactured PCB devices. They will work with the existing design team on various tools to improve the automation manufacturing capability via the creation of automation pipelines derived from mature frameworks. This is a good opportunity to receive hand on training in novel, state of the
art system design and manufacturing in a unique environment.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of Jenkins jobs and webhooks
- Create and maintain hardware specific automation scripts written in Python
- Create and maintain file handling scripts for builds and targeted deployments
- Maintain the toolchain for Zephyr development of Nordic-based MCUs
- Incorporate embedded simulation utilizing Renode
- Create/maintain framework for automated end-to-end testing
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Experience with Git source control
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with scripting languages like Python and Groovy
- Experience with Test Driven Development concepts
- Experience with TDD tools like Cucumber
- Experience with instantiating and utilizing virtual machines

This role will be conducted hybrid (combination of in-person and remotely). A laptop will be provided for use in completion of the functions of this role.
