Funding & Logistics Coordinator

Description of Duties

The Funding & Logistics Coordinator will support the Workforce Development (WFD) Team through the execution of key funding management tasks and general administrative support. This role will be responsible for coordinating workforce development engagements and meetings, and supporting the administrative aspects of project planning, management, and execution.

This position reports directly to the Development & Consulting Projects Manager, but will also support the Director of Workforce Development and Portfolio Manager.

This position is part time, with an expected commitment of 10 hours per week with the occasional need for an additional 5 hours. This is a hybrid position that will involve some hours on-site when NextFlex returns to the office (estimated January 2022).

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Support WFD Team engagements through coordination, material distribution, and tracking follow-up activities
  • Track project invoices and reports, ensuring on-time submission and compliance
  • Coordinate administrative action items with WFD partners
  • Maintain accounting and reporting documents and records
  • Process employee expense reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities)

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Exceptional ability to schedule, coordinate, and communicate plans and timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional communication style
  • Comfortable working in new situations, and quickly communicating issues as they arise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite

Prior Experience Required

  • Associate’s degree or higher

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

The physical demands of this position are somewhat strenuous, often requiring the employee to lift 50+/-pound boxes of program materials and presentation paraphernalia.
