The new generation of Industrial IOT will transform the Industrial Age to the Information Age by exploiting opportunities and benefits offered by Information Age technology and techniques. A key enabler for Industrial IOT are sensors and data procured from them. Flexible sensor networks-based Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) systems can provide real-time and historical sensor based data on the integrity of any structural platform.
This 60-minute Flexinar will provide an overview of current SHM systems for use in various platforms. Background on the technology and examples of usage will be provided, and a pathway to the next generation of flexible sensors will be discussed.
