Calling All Innovators!

Manufacturing USA has partnered with the Science + Innovation Awards to honor rising leaders in science, technology, engineering and math through a first-ever technology awards show to air on national TV in September. NextFlex, along with other Manufacturing USA Institutes, will participate in the Science + Innovation Awards show by reaching out to our community to call for award nominations. We seek to recognize those who inspire others to choose manufacturing as a career, and students who demonstrate leadership and innovation in “making things.” Here’s how:

1. Nominate a Manufacturing USA Champion to recognize teachers, mentors, and advisors who demonstrate to young people, employees, and communities what it means to “make” things. Winners will be selected based on demonstrated leadership, collaboration, innovation, and impact in promoting manufacturing in their community, state or across the U.S.
2. Nominate a Manufacturing USA Student age 13 and older who have contributed to the advanced manufacturing community through inventing new products, processes or techniques. Winners will be selected based on demonstrated leadership and innovative ability to solve problems. Categories for male, female, and team projects are available.
