Blending STEM Education with Real World Advanced Manufacturing Experience
Flex2Future is a work-based learning program designed to allow colleges to easily integrate on-the-job training into advanced manufacturing career pathways.
Through the program, colleges and companies collaborate to place students in advanced manufacturing internships, apprenticeships, and co-ops. Students in the program are able to graduate prepared for the manufacturing workforce with foundational STEM education and practical application essentials. The result is a cohort of students with not only the knowledge foundation, but also the professional, communication, and hands-on skills necessary to be competitive hires in advanced manufacturing jobs.
