NextFlex News – September 2025
Dear NextFlex friends and supporters,
Did you know that NextFlex, America’s Hybrid Electronics Manufacturing Innovation Institute, has a full end-to-end hybrid electronics manufacturing facility in San Jose, CA? Many are unaware of our extensive expertise and on-site capabilities in hybrid electronics manufacturing, which spans from design and prototyping to printing, assembly, testing, and characterization. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting a team from Los Alamos National Laboratory for an in-depth, hands-on training called NextFlex Workshop: Smarter Electronics which focuses on equipment and manufacturing processes that deliver electronics systems and devices that are lighter weight, thinner, and scalable.
The Los Alamos National Laboratory team was able to tour our Technology Hub in San Jose for examples of hybrid electronics projects and applications and see the fab and our team in action.
You can discover how we can tailor the NextFlex Workshop: Smarter Electronics to meet your specific needs. With access to a broad range of tools and manufacturing techniques, we can help you shape and deliver your design and production goals efficiently.

You can contact us for more information on custom Smarter Electronics workshops.
I’d also like to remind you about our upcoming workshop, Hybrid Electronics for Automotive & Aerospace Applications. Our very own Dr. Nick Morris, Deputy Director of Technology, has provided an amazing introduction to the workshop that you can watch here: https://youtu.be/ecU4uo5Gyl0
It’ll be an amazing opportunity to network with others, learn about new technologies, and participate in breakout sessions with other attendees. You can learn more about the event here: https://www.nextflex.us/event/nextflex-workshop-hybrid-electronics-for-automotive-and-aerospace-applications/
I hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
Dr. Dan Gamota
NextFlex Executive Director
